Sales Lifecycle Management

Manufacturers often know their products at the beginning and at the end of the product lifecycle, but much of what happens in the retail marketplace at the unique item level is unknown to them. SIRAS incorporates patented business methodologies for tracking participating products throughout their Sales Lifecycle – from shipment to sale to return to end of life, thereby providing light and visibility into the retail environment.

SIRAS uses a unique identifier – or “fingerprint” – for every registered product based on that product’s UPC and serial number. Retailers partner with SIRAS to capture this product fingerprint at the point of sale through an integrated POS solution. This data is then transmitted to SIRAS’s national database. The integrated system allows SIRAS to track products at the exact point of sale (POS), at the return counter, and even identifies re-sale transactions.

Participating manufacturers can access this information to serve a variety of purposes such as reducing customer service call times (instant purchase validation), validating warranty eligibility, and managing warranty programs to the exact date of purchase for each and every unique product.

Every product on the SIRAS program builds a unique Sales Lifecycle History in our database and that history can be queried instantly via our secure website or via an integrated technology solution.

And with SIRAS, no customer information is ever recorded, thus ensuring complete personal anonymity.
