Serialization Requirements

SIRAS partners with manufacturers to make certain that products are labeled and packaged clearly and consistently for efficient and error-free data collection of serial numbers at a retailer’s point-of-sale (POS). The SIRAS Certified designation is required before any product will be activated in a retailer’s POS system, and SIRAS commits to our retailer partners that products on our program will not degrade efficiencies - or throughput - for sale or return transactions.
